50s Top 100 Instrumentals

Welcome to the 50s top 100 instrumentals page.

I like music especially instrumentals. Each song is unique with a different beat and tempo. That is why I compiled a list of the top 100 instrumentals for the decade of the fifties. You may also be a collector of instrumentals and in the fifties there were are some great ones. Most of us probably threw away the original 45 or 78 it was recorded on and now like to rekindle some of these old memories. Check out the top 100 charts from 1890-2011, top 50 artists by decade and other music information Click Here!

You probably were directed to this page via a link from my article. I own a great many of these records in my own personal collection. I would like for you also to have chance to include them in yours. You may have favorites in this decade like I do. My top five are:
  • The Third Man Theme - Guy Lambardo
  • Cherry Pink & Apple Blossom White - Perez Prado
  • Melody Of Love - Billy Vaughn
  • Raunchy - Bill Justis
  • Meet Mister Callahan - Les Paul
If you noticed that there were thirteen (13) records that reached the coveted number 1 position on the 50's charts.

On this page you can purchase the greatest instrumental hits of this decade. These CD's include some of the rarest versions including Guy Lambardo's "The Third Man Theme" version. This title is extremely hard to find. It's included here.

The carousal below contains ten (10) CD's with various song titles. Hover the mouse on the picture and a pop-up window appears to show you the price and a button to buy. Before buying you can actually listen to some of the songs. Some CD's do not allow a listening sample. Most provide a list of the song titles contained on the CD. You will know whats on the CD before committing to a purchase.
