Bacon can be cooked using a George Foreman Grill. The fat from the bacon is removed and the result is great tasting bacon without the fat. You control the crispness of the bacon you like. The longer it cooks on the grill the crisper it gets.

Using the George Foreman Grill is a great way to cook bacon. Depending upon the size of your grill, you should get between 3 to 5 slices to cook at once. Another cooking fact is with the George Foreman Grill you don’t have to turn over the bacon during cooking. Using the grill does not splatter the grease during the cooking process than using a skillet on the stove.

The grill has upper and lower cooking plates that cooks the bacon from the top and bottom at the same time. Which makes the bacon cook faster than using the skillet on the stove.

When you cook bacon for the first time it may not be the way you like it as you may have to experiment for the desired doneness.

Cooking bacon on the George Foreman Grill will vary depending upon your taste. Some individuals like their bacon more crispy than others.

If you are cooking bacon for the first time and your model grill has a timer set it for 5 minutes and check the bacon when the timer goes off. Determine if the bacon meets your desired doneness. Continue cooking by adding more time for crisper bacon and checking every minute until the bacon reaches the desired doneness.

If your model does not have a timer, just check the bacon after 5 minutes and check for desired doneness. Adding 1 minute of cooking time until the bacon reaches the desired doneness.

After you have cooked the bacon to its desired doneness note how long it took. So, when cooking future batches of bacon you know how long to cook it for.
