SAUSAGE CALZONES RECIPE

This recipe can be used on any George Foreman Grill.

Total Time: 16 min.| Cook Time: 8 min. Prep Time: 8 min. Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tube refrigerated pizza dough, 13.8 oz.
  • ½ Cup pizza sauce
  • ½ Cup pre-cooked sausage crumbles
  • ½ Cup shredded pizza cheese of your choice

Directions:

  1. Roll out packaged pizza dough and cut into quarters.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out each quarter into about a 10” rectangle and about a 1/8” thickness.
  3. Spoon pizza sauce over one half of each rectangle. Add the sausage and shredded cheese. Fold each remaining half of dough over the toppings and press the edges together to form a tight seal.
  4. Preheat the George Foreman Grill and close the lid. Place the drip tray in front of the grill.
  5. When the grill is ready, place two calzones on the grill and cook for 3 ½ minutes. Check the calzones making sure the cheese is melted. Continue grilling as needed. Repeat this grilling for the remaining calzones.
  6. When done, place the calzones on a serving platter.
  7. Turn off the grill by unplugging it or by pressing the on/off power button if your model has this feature.
  8. Serve calzones as is or with any additional side dishes.

BUFFALO TURKEY BURGERS RECIPE

This recipe can be used with any George Foreman Grill.

Prep Time: 10 Min | Total Time: 15 Min Cook Time: 5 Min Servings: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 3 green onions thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns of your choice

Directions:

  1. Preheat the George Foreman Grill with the lid closed. Place the drip tray in front of the grill.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, onions, buffalo wing sauce and crumbled blue cheese and mix well.
  3. Shape turkey mixture into 4 patties about 3 ½-inches in diameter.
  4. When the grill is ready, place burgers on the grill and close the lid.
  5. Cook the burgers 4-6 minutes or until the internal temperature is 170°F by using a meat thermometer.
  6. When done, remove the burgers and place on the serving platter. Tip: Place the hamburger buns on the grill with the lid up. Grill the buns for 1-2 minutes for a toasty bun.
  7. Turn off the grill by unplugging it or by pressing the on/off power button if your grill has this feature.
  8. Serve the burgers with toasted buns or without being toasted and your favorite side dishes.

 

HAM AND PINEAPPLE GRILLED SANDWICH RECIPE

This recipe can be used with any George Foreman Grill.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup pineapple preserves
  • ¼ cup chopped canned peaches
  • 1 tablespoon finely diced candied ginger
  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • 4 oz. thinly sliced ham
  • 4 oz. of brie, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (salted or unsalted your choice)

Note: The above recipe makes 2 sandwiches. Adjust the ingredients accordingly for additional sandwiches.

Ingredients:

  1. In a bowl, combine preserves, peaches, and ginger; set aside.
  2. Preheat the George Foreman Grill with the lid closed. Place the drip tray in front of the grill.
  3. Spread melted button on one side of each slice of bread. Place 2 slices of bread buttered side down on a cutting board, spread the pineapple mixture on bread.
  4. Top each slice of bread with ham and cheese. Cover remaining slices of bread with buttered side up.
  5. When the grill is ready, place sandwiches on the grill and close the lid.
  6. Grill the sandwiches for 3-5 minutes or until sandwich is golden and cheese is softened.
  7. When done, remove the sandwiches from the grill. Place on serving plates.
  8. Turn off the grill by unplugging it or by pressing the on/off power button if your model has this feature.
  9. Serve sandwiches as is or with your favorite side dishes.

TURKEY SALSA ROLL RECIPE

This recipe can be used with any George Foreman Grill.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup salsa
  • 1 tablespoon minced red onion
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
  • 2 large tomato wraps
  • 4 oz. of sliced turkey
  • 4 oz. of shredded Monterey Jack cheese with jalapeno peppers

Note: This recipe makes 2 sandwiches. If you need more, adjust the ingredients accordingly.

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, combine salsa, onion, and cilantro; and set aside.
  2. Preheat the George Foreman Grill with the lid closed. Place the drip tray in front of the grill.
  3. Place the wraps on cutting board, spread salsa down center of the wrap. Top each with turkey and cheese. Fond in sides and roll-up.
  4. When the grill is ready, place end side down on the grill and close the lid.
  5. Grill the sandwiches for 3-5 minutes or until the sandwich is golden and cheese is melted.
  6. When done, remove the sandwiches from the grill and place on serving plates.
  7. Turn off the grill by unplugging it or by pressing the on/off power button if your model has it.
  8. Serve the sandwiches as is or with additional sides of your choice.

 

OPEN-FACE REUBEN SANDWICH RECIPE

This recipe calls for you using the George Foreman Broil Grill.

Total Time: 15 min Prep Time: 5 min., Cook Time: 10 min. Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of rye bread of your choice
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons 1000 Island dressing
  • ¼ cup sauerkraut drained
  • ¼ lb. thinly sliced corned beef
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese

Note: This recipe makes 2 sandwiches. If you need more, adjust the ingredients accordingly.

Directions:

  1. Remove the top grill plate. Preheat the George Foreman Broil Grill with the lid closed. Place the drip tray in front of the grill.
  2. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  3. When the grill is ready, place bread slices button side down on bottom grill plate. Top bread slices with dressing, sauerkraut and corned beef.
  4. Turn broiler feature ON and broil on HIGH for 4-5 minutes or until meat is warm. Add cheese slices and turn the broiler to LOW and broil for an additional 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Continue this process for additional sandwiches.
  5. When done, remove the sandwiches from the grill. Place sandwiches on serving plates.
  6. Turn off the grill by unplugging it or by pressing the on/off power button if your model has this feature.
  7. Serve the sandwiches as is, or if you prefer with some side dishes.

RIB-EYE STEAKS WITH COFFEE RUB RECIPE

This recipe calls for using the George Foreman Broil Grill.

Prep Time: 5 min. plus standing time, Cook Time: 10 min. Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 8 oz. boneless Rib-Eye steaks, about ¾ inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons fine ground coffee
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh ground pepper and salt to taste

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix sugar, coffee, garlic powder and chili powder.
  2. Rub both sides of steaks with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Rub steaks with coffee mixture and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
  4. Remove the top grill plate and be sure the bottom plate is attached. Preheat the George Foreman Broil Grill broiler on HIGH for 5 minutes with the lid closed.
  5. When grill is ready, broil steaks for 10-12 minutes or to desired doneness.
  6. When done, remove the steaks from the grill and place on a bread board or platter to rest for 3 to 4 minutes before serving.
  7. Turn off the grill by pressing the on/off power button.
  8. Serve the steaks with your favorite side dishes.
